TWINS! Overnight & Daytime Newborn Care Specialist
“Wendy is a five-star Doula, and exactly who you want to support your new babies, you and your family! Wendy was an overnight doula for my newborn twins for the first month of their life. She was the perfect combination of professionalism, quality of care, kindness, and compassion. She was constantly finding unique and safe ways to to soothe, feed, and engage the babies in the best way possible. She was always extremely forthcoming on how she could best support me, my husband, my toddler, of course, in addition to the newborns. Wendy was key to making my postpartum journey feel supported and much less stressful. I would highly recommend working with Wendy for as long as you can!”

Day Time Post-Partum Care
“I was looking for daytime support. I was matched with Wendy who was amazing. She was very thorough in understanding my needs and was always very communicative about how to help me tackle them. As a first time mom, I found her support invaluable. She was always so caring and engaged with my little one who took to her very quickly. She helped with light housework and cooked meals. She always has a smile on her face and frequently texted me tips and suggestions. She helped me to identify a dairy intolerance in my baby which really helped with decreasing his spit ups after feeds. Wendy is a caring and knowledgeable doula and I thank Tiny Miracles for allowing her to help me along my parenting journey. I would definitely recommend her!”

Home Birth
"My pregnancy, labor, and birth were anything but conventional.
I dealt with many traumas caused by medical offices & hospitals throughout this very important time in my life. But
I never would have made it through the last stage of labor if it
wasn’t for Wendy.
The original doula made me very uncomfortable. She was unprofessional,
heartless, and unlicensed. In addition, she physically abused me
during major contractions. After seventy-two hours and fifteen minutes
in first stage labor, the original doula finally left and I could feel
the energy clear. I felt better.
But I heard the midwife say she had another doula coming to help. That
made me very nervous. After the last doula, I didn’t know if this one
would make me feel safe. When Wendy arrived she came right to the
bedroom to introduce herself. She said she knew I was having a rough
day and she was here to make it better. I immediately expressed my
gratitude for her help and relayed what I needed assistance with.
Wendy sat by my side for a couple hours. She kept me hydrated,
reminded me that I was doing a great job, and massaged my back during
big contractions. The second stage of labor lasted two hours and
twenty-three minutes. Without Wendy’s sympathy and patience I would not have been able to make it through the end of labor.
Wendy is kind, compassionate, sympathetic, and understanding…all
qualities a doula should have. It is important to have someone who
listens…something I found in Wendy. I wish she had been there at the
start of my labor. I feel as though the process would have gone
smoother and quicker if she had been there from day one.
If you are looking for a doula, Wendy is the only person I recommend
for the job. She saved my life and she saved my daughter’s life. We
consider her part of our family and we cannot thank her enough."

Hospital Birth
We decided to get a Doula because, my first birth scarred me for life. I had no bodily autonomy, birth happened to me. We didn't know Doulas were a thing! We learned through research what a Doula was. I was afraid of a stranger witnessing my birth, but I was afraid to give birth again even more! Through searching to find a Doula I was connected with Wendy.
From the first text message to our first interview, she made everything feel so laid back and simple. I felt like I was getting lunch with a friend. The reason why I decided to go with Wendy was because she made me FEEL at ease, she asked me questions I didn't think of, as a recovering people pleaser it was important I had someone who would back me up and reminded me that it's my birth, my baby, my body. Wendy did that and more!
Wendy is the kind of person that gives you a warm fuzzy feeling inside when you think of her. She supported me without making me feel like she was in charge. She showed us that she was support for my husband and I.
Wendy is extremely thoughtful, respectful, empathetic, kind, supportive, calm, encouraging, fierce when needed, and loving. She celebrated all our ups, and guided us through our downs. She has this energy that says "you can do this, and everything is gonna be ok".
I cant begin to tell you how much I needed Wendy, and didn't realize it! I will never forget that moment when I grabbed on to her shirt during labor and locked eyes with her. I will never be able to thank Wendy enough for giving a part of herself to us, and helping our baby girl out! The birth of our daughter was a healing experience for me. Everything went well, and I was able to decide what I was willing to allow and didn't allow. Wendy was reassuring me through the whole process. I was able to have the birth I wanted and I allowed room for compromise with the doctors, and with myself too.
If I ever become pregnant in the future, Wendy will be the second person to know. Needless to say that Wendy is part of the family now. I will recommend her to anyone who asks or doesn't ask, and am no longer afraid of birth as I was before.
Thank you Wendy, we love you!
P.S: Wendy takes great meaningful pictures!

Twilight and Overnight Care
“Wendy was absolutely amazing!! The kindest, most gentle person and we couldn’t trust her more with our newborn! She took on all the newborn responsibilities in the evenings so we could spend time with our toddler and get a few hours of sleep before overnight. She also helped us with a few overnights, which allowed us to get a couple 4-5 hours straight of sleep (in between feedings). Having Wendy here was so worth it and I wish I knew about Tiny Miracles Care earlier!”
